Not the flashy JDM style kits with colored wires and a giant ground hub that you have to attach to your battery. These kits are tailored to each application listed. The cables are cut to length for particular grounding points that are the most beneficial so there's no guesswork. It has been proven that most cars show gains in power and quicker starting when the important circuit grounds are better connected to the battery. Smoother idling and quicker throttle response are benefits of a stronger spark. Other improvements that some have noticed include brighter lights, faster wipers, and less radio static. Included is an additional power feed cable from the alternator to take some of the load off of the most overworked wire in the entire car. These kits use 4 and 8 gauge wire as appropriate. They are not overkill for the sake of overkill, the wire size is selected not just for benefit but also for good fit to the connectors. What good are giant ground cables if they won't fit onto the connection points?
The cables are solid black with insulated ends. The alternator cable has red insulators to distinguish it from the ground cables. All cable ends are crimped tightly AND SOLDERED! Soldering the wires locks in the electrical connection at the terminal and prevents corrosion. The kits include everything you need except tools. Installation should take around an hour. Instructions with photos are provided on a cd-rom.
*UPDATE*
The picture above shows a kit with the nylon loom on the wires. I am no longer offering to build the kits with the loom on the wires. Instead, I will sell a DIY loom kit that includes the loom and heat shrink tubing for the ends and you can install the loom to suit yourself.
